Facial treatment guide

Facials, peels and serum treatments

Facials can be relaxing, active or skin-quality focused. This guide explains the difference between manual luxury facials, hydra-style cleansing, diamond polishing, serum finishes and peel upgrades.

Choose by goal

Which facial route makes sense?

The right appointment depends on whether the client wants relaxation, a fresher cleanse, smoother-feeling texture, congestion support or a more active skin-quality plan.

Luxury manual facials

Best for a slower spa feel, massage, steam where suitable, masks, hot towels and a softer, calmer finish.

Hydra-style and diamond polish

Good for clients wanting a cleaner, smoother-feeling facial with hydration, exfoliation or a polished finish.

Active upgrades

Peels, radiofrequency and advanced serum applications need closer screening and more careful aftercare.

Ingredients and steps you may see

  • Cleanse and exfoliation: salicylic cleanser, enzyme powder, steam, diamond polish or hydra-style cleansing where suitable.
  • Masks: hydrating, mud, clay or jelly-style masks chosen around comfort, oiliness, dryness and sensitivity.
  • Serums: hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, collagen, NAD, PDRN or copper peptide-style finishes may be discussed.
  • Chemical peel upgrades: active exfoliation for suitable skin, with sun protection and gentle aftercare afterwards.
  • Radiofrequency: a warm cosmetic firming-style step only used where heat treatment is suitable.

What to expect

Most facials leave the skin feeling cleaner, softer or more hydrated. More active options may cause temporary pinkness, dryness, tightness, sensitivity or light flaking. Avoid planning active peels immediately before an important event if your skin is reactive.

When to choose a gentler route

Active treatment may be delayed where the skin is irritated, sunburned, broken, infected, very reactive, recently treated, or where medication or a skin condition changes suitability. A simpler calming facial can sometimes be the better choice.

How this differs from injectables

Facials work on cleansing, comfort, texture and surface skin quality. Skin boosters, PRP / PRF, peptide mesotherapy and fillers involve needles, different consent and a different risk discussion.

Facials are not advertised as cures for acne, pigmentation, rosacea, eczema, scarring or medical skin conditions. Red flags are signposted rather than treated cosmetically.
